Job description

Senior Project/Contracts Manager or project manager required by Tier 1 Main Contractor to oversee the external landscaping, cladding and interials a £150m state of the art new build hosptial.

 

This successful building group has recently experienced a large amount of success in winning a number of £70m - £175m New-Build schemes across the UK and Europe including a £150m new build hosptial projects ased in a central cambridgeshire location with excellent transport links to the rest of the region and state of the art facilities. To maintain the growth in this are and beyond they are strategically planning some significant senior and key hires to help sustain and further develop their Market presence  The Project/Contracts Manager MUST have relevant experience with a Tier 1 Main Contractor and be able to demonstrate his/her ability delivering sizable schemes.

The site team have worked together previously and you will be managing an excellent site manager, general foreman, site foreman, senior project engineer and a strong contract administrator together with a site team

.

Desired Skills and Experience

The Project/Contracts Manager will be responsible for following:

*Ensuring a high level of health and safety is adhered to and matches the contractor's policies and procedures.

*Further developing and training your site team and ensuring you show support to your line managers.

*Maintaining and further developing relationships with all key stakeholders including, client representatives, local authorities and supply chain. The role is a joint venture.

*Taking ownership of the full P&L, budgetary costs, margins and cash flow for your project.

*Producing weekly and monthly reports and chair regular catch ups with both your seniors and your site teams.

*Continue to support and lead further bids and tenders for future projects.

*Competent and able to manipulate and edit the program.

To be considered for this Project Manager position, you must have the following experience and skills:

*Have evidence and a proven track record of delivering similar types of high value complex schemes from pre-construction through to handover.

*Have proven experience with a solid work history

*Have strong communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels of personnel.

*Have obtained an industry recognised degree or have come from a relevant build trades background.

*Ability to develop and promote your site team
