A company who are experts in design & build, main contracting, interior fit-out and project management services are recruiting a Safety Manager to join their team. They provide high quality services to public and private sector clients and have won numerous awards for their outstanding work. Your role will involve:
  • Taking ownership of the company’s ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 Management Systems to ensure that standards and procedures are kept in line with regulatory requirements
  • Promoting safe systems of work in line with ISO & OHSAS standards, ensuring that safety is of paramount importance in all undertakings by the organisation
  • Contributing to the development of organisations strategic plan to deliver Health and Safety improvements in line with targets and objectives
You will play a significant role in a leading company by working directly with the site and senior management team to deliver a safe project and providing reports of EHS initiatives to the company board.

You will need:
  • A degree in Health and Safety
  • 7 years’ experience as a Health and Safety Manager
  • The ability to manage and motivate people
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • To be a member of IOSH or equivalent
