Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a leading specialist environmental Water and Wastewater contractors. Theyspecialise in municipal and industrial Water & Wastewater treatment design, construction & operation and also mechanical and electrical installation, upgrade and maintenance services. Employing over 60 highly skilled and qualified engineers, scientists, operators and technicians, they are able to provide clients with a “one stop shop” service from design and construction through to commissioning, operation and specialist maintenance services.

With a strong orderbook, they wish to appoint an experienced Mechanical Engineer for their upcoming and ongoing works. The successful candidate should be a self-motivated individual and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience preferably in the water industry.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to operate 3D packages such as Bentley AutoPLANT, ProSteel, Plant 4D, Auto Cad plant 3D or equivalent is a requirement for this role
  • The candidate will have to have a good working knowledge of fabrication and the materials available for fabrication will be essential in both pipe work and equipment instillations.

Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineer from a recognised institution.
  • Experience in the Water industry with particular emphasis on Water & Wastewater treatment plants.
  • Excellent organisational skills and report writing experience.
  • Strong Engineering analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop in the Water and Wastewater industry
