Our Client, a long-established and reputable Facilities Services provider, is recruiting a Document Controller Manager to assist and manage the documentation associated with recently acquired major Engineering / Facilities / Utilities projects.
Based Cork, the successful Document Controller Manager will work within the technical engineering and design teams and will report directly to the Technical Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitoring and maintaining a major document management system.
Modifying and developing existing procedures
SharePoint quality management.
Implementation of a document archiving procedure.
Ensuring that control measures are in place for the distribution of hard / soft documents to copy holders.
Liaising with other document controllers.
Providing direction to third parties.
Providing real time information to all parties and keeping the Document Management System always up to date.
Monitoring, reporting and tracking on all document.
Develop an electronic Workflow Management System.
Protecting the integrity of documents.
To be considered for the role you must:
Hold a Third Level qualification in Engineering / Quality / IT (or similar)
Have more than 5 years post graduate relevant experience on major Engineering / Construction / Process projects (or similar).
Proficient in SharePoint.
Thorough knowledge of Document Management systems.
Have strong IT and Administration skills.
Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical).
Ideally you will:
Have more than 1 year Team Management experience.
Have experience in large infrastructure / Oil & Gas construction projects (or relates sectors)
Have experience in the roll-out, implementation and management of ISO-9001.
Have an ability to lead a small team of Document Controllers.
Manage multi-projects whilst ensuring all deadlines are met.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on the experience and fit of the candidate. However, the ideal candidate can expect remuneration in the order of: c €70,000 per annum
