Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: €60,000-70,000

A medium sized Developer is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will be based in the Finglas are of Dublin.

Duties:

• Feasibility Studies, Budget Projections, Development and Financial Appraisals


• Reviewing of tender drawings, specification and Building Regulations, production of Bills of Quantities and Schedules of Rates


• Advising on procurement and contractual arrangements, contract administration


• Tender Analysis and financial reporting, value engineering to bring contract value within projected budget


• Recommendation for contractor appointment, Project Management and Subcontractor co-ordination from conception to completion


• Preparation and submission of valuations and projected cash flow forecasts for financial institutions; recommendations for contract payments


• Identifying variations to the contract and advising of cost implications


• Cost advice, planning and control


• Preparation and submission of interim valuations, identifying and pricing of variations


• Final Account preparation and submission


• Subcontractor Procurement, analysis and appointment


• Cost Reporting to Senior Management

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics


• Minimum 7+ years with a proven track record in residential/commercial/mixed development construction experience with a Main Contractor


• Good financial and numeracy management skills


• Excellent communication and negotiating skills


• Flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing work environment are essential.
