Martin Reddin Ltd are an established contractor based in Portlaosie Co. Laois with a large order book looking to appoint a Site Manager / General Foremen for various projects in the Leinster region.
This role will be working with a Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering high class fast track projects for a large No of clients. Works are in construction projects across residential, commercial and retail / fit out sectors.


Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis
Ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards
Monitor progress, oversee delivery of materials and carry out safety checks and sort out any problems which could hold up work as they arise
Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners to ensure requirements and specifications are met on time and within budget
Ensure that work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements.
Act as the first point of contact for members of the public and sub-contractors
Comply with company Health and Safety Management System and Safety T Cert accreditation requirements
Liaise with design team members in accordance with the agreed project inspection plans.
Comply with company Quality Manual and I.S.O. 9001 requirements.
Plant & Tools & Hire Control on site
Ordering Materials, Control of Materials in conjunction with purchasing Dept.
Keeping Site Records / Site Diary and liaising with QS and Contracts Manager in relation to same.


Degree/trade qualified
Excellent organisation & time management skills are essential
Proven track record of working to strict timescales
Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation is needed
A solid track record of managerial experience within the construction industry required
Good understanding of budgets and proven record of keeping project within tight budgets
The Ideal candidate will have undertaken the following training, however this isn’t a prerequisite · Managing Safety in Construction · · First Aid
