Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

An IrishProcess Control, Automation and Instrumentation company is seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer tojoin their team in Co. Kildare that offer services into various vertical markets with acurrent primary focus on Water and Power industries. This business is growingquickly and have plans to expand into further markets.

 This companyis a leading supplier of products, systems and services to multiple industriesin Ireland and through innovative training and education programs, they striveto provide employees with the tools, knowledge and resources they need toincrease safety and reduce risk on every project. They have significantexperience in the management of Large Scale Projects across various industriesand consistently provide the highest levels of quality to all aspects of theirwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Create O&M manuals for sites
  • Create as built panel drawings for site
  • Create I/o Lists for sites
  • Generate method statements
  • Liaise with EICA contracts manager following contract award to generate work pack for the job. This work pack will have all information required by site engineers to successfully complete the works package as per tender/quotation requirement.
  • Engineer will also be utilised by Civil/Mech Project Manager where any EICA design elements are required for their contracts.

Qualifications
  • Level 8 Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Strong Electrical AutoCAD experience an advantage
  • Familiar with design of electrical instrumentation, control and SCADA systems.
  • Competent in electrical design and have ability to work independently.
  • Previous relevant experience an advantage.
  • Professional approach to work.
  • Ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business.
