Accounts Assistant - Meath (2162)

Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant with strong book keeping experience.

This position is a fixed term contract for 8 months, beginning in January 2018 and ending in August 2018. The working location is at Athboy, Co. Meath. The required hours to be covered are 9.00am to 5.00pm Mon to Fri. The role encompasses accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll with some specific book keeping duties. Salary is negotiable and depends on experience.

 The scope of the required duties are as follows:

  • Accounts Payable / Creditors Ledger Responsibility.
  • Accounts Receivable / Debtors Ledger responsibility alongside weekly invoicing.
  • Weekly Bank Reconciliations.
  • Payroll, using Sage Micro Pay for weekly/monthly payroll run.
  • Processing and posting of Payments to Suppliers.
  • Processing and posting of Payments to sub-contractors inclusive of RCT.
  • Adhoc reports / analysis from the Computerised systems as required by the FC or MD.
  • Other ad hoc duties as they arise.

Essential Requirements:

  • Specific experience of Sage Line 50 and Sage Micro Pay together with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) advanced knowledge.
  • Strong Accounts payable experience, and Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Strong Accounts receivable experience.
  • Knowledge of Accounting practices, relevant to ROI.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
