A leading building and civil engineering contractor with awards in built environment, safety and environmental considerations is seeking a Document Controller/Site Administrator for a role in London, England. This highly respected company has extensive experience in Ireland and in line with domestic growth has also expanded internationally. The past decade has seen this company continue to grow in the UK market, completing landmark projects throughout London. As a part of many industry bodies, they also help shape the future of the construction sector.

You will be responsible for:
  • Generating various document control reports as required and keeping information up to date
  • Coordinating all activities related to the Document Control procedures
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with personnel at all levels internal and external to the company
  • Distributing relevant documents to site and subcontractors
  • Maintaining health and safety records and ordering materials
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior management
What you will need to be successful:
  • A minimum of 1 year document control experience
  • Site administrator/Site clerk experience
  • Excellent experience of MS Office
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
Previous knowledge of the construction industry is preferable but not essential
