The role of Payroll Officer is with a successful Building and Civil engineering company. They have a reputation for the delivery of innovative, high quality projects to their clients. This company is one of Ireland's top 5 Construction companies. They are now looking for a motivated and experienced Payroll Officer to join their Finance team. This is a new role due to the expansion and growth of the company.

You will be responsible for
  • Processing of weekly payroll (15 employees)
  • Liaising with sites to ensure accuracy of timesheets
  • Production of reports. Processing of payments by eft
  • Processing of monthly UK payroll (28 employees)
  • Processing of payments by eft
  • HMRC returns
  • Monthly Irish Staff payroll (Currently 230 employees, processing is outsourced)
  • Preparation of amendment files
  • Reconciliation and preparation of all payroll deduction returns, including Revenue returns, pension and health deductions
  • Management of BIK
  • Payment of all employee expenses claims
  • Preparation of reports relating to company mobile phone usage, fuel and others
  • Management of fuel cards, insurance and tax disks toll tokens etc
  • Analysis and posting of the company visa card expenses

What you will need to be successful:
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years Payroll experience
  • Experience of UK payroll will be an advantage
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience within the construction industry would be desirable.
